HKS Hi-Power Cat-Back Exhaust System (Mild Steel) For: 2003-2007 Mitsubishi Evo VIII/IX Part Number: 31006-BM002 Inspired by endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS designed the Hi-Power Exhaust system to enhance performance for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines. Featuring a race-inspired offset muffler and streamlined piping design, the system maximizes exhaust flow and delivers significant high-RPM power gains by reducing restrictive bends and ensuring a straighter exhaust path. For turbocharged setups, the smooth, high-volume exhaust flow improves mid-range boost response and high-RPM output. Naturally aspirated engines also see benefits, with increased flow capacity supporting advanced tuning levels. Some models are available in a Silent Hi-Power version, featuring an integrated inner silencer for quieter operation. Crafted from durable SUS304 stainless steel, the Hi-Power Exhaust features muffler tips ranging from 96mm to 120mm in diameter, with piping sizes between 55mm and 95mm, depending on the application. Special Edition Carbon Titanium Hi-Power systems are available for select popular models, incorporating a carbon fiber-wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished stainless steel piping for a premium, high-performance aesthetic.
